PREP-STATION
The Ventis PREP-STATION is designed to provide a clean, safe, and highly controlled environment for surface preparation prior to painting. Fresh, filtered air is supplied through a fully filtered ceiling plenum and drawn vertically downward through a fully filtered floor exhaust system, ensuring effective removal of dust and airborne contaminants. This full downdraft airflow configuration delivers stable air movement and optimal conditions for high-quality preparation work.
The PREP-STATION is installed on a dedicated structural base designed to be recessed into a concrete floor, ensuring correct airflow performance, structural stability, and long-term durability. This solution allows seamless integration with workshop floors while maintaining a clean, unobstructed working area.
Available in multiple length, width, and height configurations, the Ventis PREP-STATION can be precisely adapted to different shop layouts and operational requirements. Designed for professional automotive and industrial applications, it integrates smoothly into existing coating workflows, improving efficiency, cleanliness, and overall process quality.

Configuration Options
The Ventis PREP-STATION is designed as a highly modular preparation zone, allowing configuration to match different workshop layouts, vehicle sizes, and workflow requirements. The system is available in multiple length, width, and height variants, with the option to extend the working area to accommodate larger vehicles or parallel preparation operations.
Air extraction can be configured as a full downdraft system with floor exhaust or as a side exhaust system, depending on site conditions and installation preferences. Both configurations ensure effective removal of dust and airborne particles while maintaining stable airflow across the preparation zone.
The curtain enclosure system can be adapted in terms of opening layout, curtain overlap, and access points, allowing optimized vehicle entry and operator movement. Lighting configurations can be customized by adjusting the number and positioning of LED fixtures within the ceiling plenum, ensuring consistent illumination tailored to the application.
Ventis PREP-STATION can be supplied as a standalone unit or integrated into a larger coating workflow alongside spray booths and drying zones. This flexibility makes it a practical, scalable solution for body shops and industrial facilities seeking efficient preparation capacity without the complexity of a fully enclosed booth.
Heavy Duty Construction:
Ventis PREP-STATION is designed as an open preparation zone with a rigid steel frame structure, enclosed using sliding industrial PVC curtains. This solution provides flexible access for vehicles and operators while effectively separating the preparation area from the surrounding workspace. The modular frame allows easy integration into existing workshops and ensures structural stability without the need for permanent walls.
Airflow System:
Fresh air is supplied through a ceiling-mounted supply plenum, delivering uniform airflow across the working area. Depending on the selected configuration, contaminated air is extracted either through a downdraft floor exhaust system or a side exhaust system, ensuring efficient removal of dust, sanding particles, and airborne contaminants. This airflow design creates a clean and controlled environment suitable for professional surface preparation.
Filtration System:
Incoming air passes through high-efficiency intake filters integrated into the ceiling plenum, providing clean, filtered air to the working zone. Exhaust air is directed through dedicated exhaust filtration, effectively capturing dust and particulates before discharge, helping to maintain workshop cleanliness and compliance with safety requirements.
Lighting & Access:
The PREP-STATION is equipped with integrated overhead LED lighting, positioned within the ceiling plenum to provide bright, uniform, and shadow-free illumination. Wide access is provided by sliding curtain openings on all sides, allowing easy vehicle movement and efficient workflow while maintaining clear visibility and operator safety.
